Story Creator - a tool for Digital Storytelling

Hello everyone! :)

This time I am going to introduce a digital storytelling tool. It is named ''Story Creator''. You can find this app on AppStore. Namely, this app is for Iphone. It lets you create beautiful story books containing photos, videos, text and audio all in one. It is very fun, simple and easy. This is a good app for social stories for children. Children can write their daily routines by taking photos, by recording voices or by taking a video. In addition to these, children can draw something to create a story and then they can add a text to this story. 
Now, I will show you some screenshots from this app to be able to introduce you wonderfully.

This photo is the symbol of this app in the phone. If you see this picture, ready for fun story! :)

When you open this app, you can see that there are books like visuals in above. By tapping ''+'', you can start creating your new story.

 You can add your voice to go along with the words. This is very useful and fun activity for children. This lets children hear their own voices so that they can correct their own pronounciation mistakes.

You can take photos and upload them into this story. At the same time, you can upload a video for this story. According to me, this improves children's visual intelligence.

You can add a text to this story. It seems to me, this provides children to read and understand the story easily while listening it.

In conclusion, this tool is a great application for creating favourite stories for children. I highly recommend you for using this tool. Because it promotes their imagination and develops their creativity. They can hear their own voices. Thanks to this, they can improve their pronounciation and record their voices again and again until they correct them. Firstly, you can teach children how to be used this app and then you can want them to create their own stories by adding their voices and by drawing their pictures.

Frog Fish and The Selfish Man

Hi, again! :)

Today I will mention about my digital story telling project. Our teacher wanted us to create a digital story. So, my peer and I created a short story and used movie maker as a tool for this project. We add a song to make our video more amusing.
It is a story about a frog, a fish and a selfish man. One day, Joseph the frog sees a man fishing at sea and tells Rachel the fish about him.

ESL KidStuff

Hi, I am here again with a website project. I will inform you about educational English website: http://www.eslkidstuff.com/index.htm. This website has been designed to help kids succeed in English. It involves various types of exercises, classroom practices and home practices for kids and it also involves teacher resources such as ESL certificates, attendance sheets and lesson plan templates. This website is addressed to age groups of between seven and eleven. This website has been created by five English teachers who were all different lands: one from US, one from Canada, one from England, one from Australian and one from Japan. They were all living and teaching in Japan. They worked together and created this ESL Kid Stuff. Three of the original teachers were still involved with ESL KidStuff and over the ten years more have contributed. Now that, they had 12 years anniversary. Then, they were determined to provide quality materials for busy ESL kids teachers via this website. I want to say something as supplemantary information. They are very modest and open-minded people. Because they say in this website's about section: '' You feel free to let us know for your further offer about activities. '' According to me, this shows us the site isa good and an updated site.

When you first open this website, you come across lots of titles which categorize the activities into subtitles. You can choose whichever activity you want and then you can start doing these activities. You can find all activities in site map.

In conclusion, I mentioned about some parts of these websites. I highly recommend you. Because it includes wide range of activities for kinds and their teachers. It is an easy tool for use. Kids like colourful pages and games. This website supplies these things to learners. As a disadvantage, this website is not a free website completely. It has free activities for each section. Kids can find themselves in these free activities but these activities are limited numerically. If a kid doesn't download waged activities, they have to be limited to free activities. But still, I will use this website. Because its free activities may be sufficient for classroom activities.

MY LEFT FOOT

Hi, I am here again! :)
I want to introduce you my wikispaces project. This project is related to book review. In those paces, we described the book which we selected. We gave some information about the book, the book's author. We tried to persuade the readers to read this book by motivating them with questions. I chose ''My Left Foot'' and told something about it in this pages. The reason why I chose this book is that this book is my favourite book. And I wanted this book to be read by other people.

This project has both advantages and disadvantages. Firstly, I will mention about advatages. Anyone can add it, it is easy to use and learn, people from all over the world can work on the same documant. As for the disadvantages, wikis require students to have access to computers and an internet connection, but not all students have an internet connection. Wikis can be edited by anyone so that it can cause biased information.

Hi, this is a podcast project which is about a horror story. I did this project with my classmate. Firstly, we made up this story. And then, we recorded our voice. When I listened my voice, I feel a bit strange. Because this was the first experience I have ever made about podcast. In addition to our sounds, sound effects made the podcast more attractive. According to me, this is an interesting and a funny experience.

Now, I will mention about what a podcast 's pros&cons.

I think, podcast has both advantages and disadvantages. As the advantages of a podcast, I can say lots of things. Firstly, a podcast is convenient and easy to consume. You can download it to your computer and you can listen to it at any time, Secondly, a podcast is a time-efficient form of communication. You can listen to it while you do whatever you want. Lastly, a podcast is portable. You can take it with you and listen wherever you want. On the other hand, there is some disadvantages of a podcast. For example, a podcast can be misused by its users. Students may not pay attention in class to a lecture because they may feel that materials are available elsewhere. And while they are preparing for an exam, they may study only podcast materials.
